Schoolgirl dies after Cerverax, cervical vaccine - unproven, and now unsafe?

Posted Sep 29 2009 10:36pm

As readers of this blog know, I am not keen on injecting foreign DNA into people as vaccines

Natalie Morton's, aged 14, death is a tragedy. More so given the unproven nature of cerverax, which costs almost £300 a shot. An expensive death, and with 1.4 millions doses already given, perhaps there was a better way of spending £120 millions?

Free condoms for the nation which protect against all sexually transmitted diseases? Youth centres offering young people safer entertainment than unprotected sex?

On the other hand, Cerverax may look like a bargain, if you hope, when you retire, like Liam Donaldson and Professor Elizabeth Miller head of the Health Protection Agency, you will be rewarded with well paid directorships by Pharmaceutical Companies
