Precose (Diabetes Drug) generic manufacturer gets FDA approval – Available 4th quarter

The Food and Drug Administration approved Impax Laboratories Inc. ’s generic copies of a diabetes drug. Hayward-based Impax (NASDAQ: IPXL) plans to start selling the tablets, copies of Bayer ’s Precose, in the fourth quarter of this year. They’ll be marketed in 25 mg, 50 mg and 100 mg sizes.
