Osco Partners in the Midwest with Physician’s group for First Retail Clinic

Osco Drug stores has it’s first retail clinic coming soon in the Midwest. This is partnership with a Physician’s Group and will accept most major insurance plans and Medicare. This is a first move for Osco and in the past retailers such as CVS and WalMart have been in the retail clinic business now for a couple years or better. BD
FRANKLIN PARK, Ill. — Jewel-Osco, a Supervalu-owned Midwest chain based here, will put a Physicians Prompt Care Express clinic in its Orland Park store starting mid-August.
The retailer is partnering with Tinley Park-based, board-certified Physicians Prompt Care Centers to give patients convenient, yet affordable health care.
Most major insurance plans, including Medicare, will be accepted at the Physicians Prompt Care Express, which will be located in the southwest corner of the store, adjacent to the pharmacy.
