North Carolina C.A.R.E. Clinic Free Healthcare Clinic Looking for Volunteers–Clinic Date Is Set for December 7, 2010

A couple months ago the Free Clinic Association sponsored a free day of healthcare in the Washington DC area and their next move is in Charlotte, North Carolina.
No doubt the free clinics are probably not nearly as elaborate at the health fair days coming up in October 2010 for Staff Members of the US Senate by comparison that we pay for as taxpayers; the Free Clinics depend on contributions and philanthropy to help those who do not have insurance. BD
The National Association of Free Clinics (NAFC), along with the North Carolina Association of Free Clinics will be sponsoring a one day free medical clinic for the uninsured on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 in Charlotte, NC. The NC C.A.R.E. Clinic will offer free basic medical care and health education. Being a volunteer at this event will give you the opportunity to help hundreds of people gain access to medical care they otherwise may not receive.
The C.A.R.E. Clinic patient hours are from 11:00am to 6:00pm.
Patients can call 877-233-5159 for more information and to make an appointment.
Uninsured Patients Only. Walk-ins will be seen on a limited, first-come first-serve basis.
