Medicare prescription drug scams, investigator explains the cycle of fraud

Experts say trafficking of prescription drugs has become nearly a billion-dollar industry. Data from the DEA shows that in 2009, there were about seven million Americans abusing prescription pain and anxiety drugs. The agency expects 2010 numbers to show a double-digit increase. Billions of dollars are lost annually because of this type of Medicare fraud.
