Do you want to know what docs are thinking about hot topics?

Twitter can be a helpful resource since it allows you to be a spectator. A prime example is the hashtag #MDChat. Every Tuesday night, doctors have a live Twitter chat. (Although there are interesting posts using the hashtag 24/7). All you have to do in order to observe is to go to Twitter and enter #MDChat in the search box. Or, you can go directly to MDChat.org to locate transcripts.

So, why is this important if you’re a healthcare marketer? Because it’s crucial to understand your doctors if you want to increase high-contribution patient volume. While your hospital’s specific doctors or areas of capacity may not be discussed in #MDChat, you can be an active listener in understanding the sentiments, successes and complaints of doctors.
