Be prepared to be educated even in your hospital bed. Actually the program offers more than education and gives patients the ability to email, and oh yes I’m sure they can also reach all their social networks and Twitter from the hospital, there will be no escape from social networks (grin).

GetWellNetwork Inc., a Bethesda, Md.-based vendor of a television-based communications system for hospital patient rooms, has raised $10 million in a round of funding.
The round included Johnson & Johnson Development Corp., the venture capital subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, as a new investor. Existing investors that participated in the new funding include Valhalla Partners, Grosvenor Funds, Point Judith Capital and Village Ventures & Affiliates.
