Thanks to Denise Silber for posting this information. This book is available for free download in PDF format. The information contained in this book provides a broad, and encompassing series of essays on topics of interest related to the area of technology and its use in healthcare.

Initially, it caught my interest because it contains well written contextual articles on where we were with Health IT and how we have reached our position today.

The organizer of this series of articles is Renato Marcos Endrizzi Sabbatini, a Brazilian biomedical and computer scientist, educator, publisher, science writer, entrepreneur and administrator, born in Campinas, Brazil. He holds a doctoral degree in physiology from the University of São Paulo.
