Finance problems in primary care

Posted Oct 23 2008 5:58pm

Here is a good blog posting by a physician who discusses our current finance problems in primary care: click here

I feel that primary care is important, and these realities concern me. The folks at the Society for Innovative Medical Practice Design, such as Chris Ewin ( click here to see his website ), are part of a grassroots movement by physicians to find solutions. In the near future, as the Baby Boomers stress our healthcare system in ways that we have never experienced before, it will be fascinating to watch the evolution of primary care.

You can read more about innovative practice models at Kevin, M.D. ( click here ); his latest blog entries discuss them at length.
