Entrepreneurs' Counsel: Case study for using document automation: Bridge financing agreements

Posted Nov 10 2010 3:40pm
Although document automation software has been around for more than a decade, law firms and legal departments have generally been slow to adopt it.  Perhaps, it’s because it takes an investment of money, resources, and time to learn the software, develop all the variations in the forms, and code the documents.  Or, more likely with respect to law firms, perhaps it is because document automation reduces revenue and margins for law firms who overly rely on the billable hour.
