Cray expansion plan dead for now

For now, Cray Inc. has decided not to go ahead with an expansion project in Chippewa Falls. City officials still hope the proposal could be revived in the future. “Cray is just looking at their options and alternatives. They decided they didn’t want to make a decision as quickly as we wanted them to,” said Chippewa Falls Planner Jayson Smith.
