Each of us has a set of core values, taught to us by our parents, relatives, teachers, clergy and friends. These values set boundaries and limits on our behavior. But, are we true to these core values? Do we do the right thing when no one is watching? With the demands of work and the constant pressure to achieve results, it would be easy to take a shortcut, cover-up poor performance, misstate the status of a project or overstate the reliability of a system.
