Interestingly, this report claims that academic medical centers are more likely to reach meaningful use than other hospital centers. It could stem from one or several reasons, the higher likelihood is that academic medical centers have a higher percentage of young medical residents who are more familiar with computers and the analysis necessary to ascertain compliance and criteria met.
