I have a condition which makes my body produce too many platelets. I get blood tested regularly. The problem is at my family doctor my platelet count is in the normal range however at my other doctor my platelet count is very high. What can cause this? Should I be alarmed? The other doctor just upped my meds and I am considered that this might not be right. What should I do?
