Karen Cator, director of the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Educational Technology, will address a conference of the Vermont Superintendents Association and Vermont Council of Special Education Administrators regarding the National Education Technology Plan Thursday in Fairlee, Vt. Cator will outline the plan, which offers goals for using technology to transform education in five areas: learning, assessment, teaching, infrastructure and productivity. The aim is to achieve each goal by 2015.
