Michael Robbins, special assistant for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, will deliver remarks at Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer’s Council of Clergy meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 3 in Orlando, Fla. The Mayor’s Council of Clergy is an interfaith council that facilitates two-way communication between the City of Orlando and the faith community.
In his remarks, Robbins will speak about engaging the interfaith community in service to help turn around persistently low-performing schools. After the meeting, Robbins will be joined by John Kelly from the Corporation for National and Community Service for follow-up discussions with local school, faith and community leaders to further discuss strategies and resources for supporting school turnarounds in Orlando.
