U.S. Deputy Secretary of Education Tony Miller will deliver the keynote address at the 2010 Congressional Award Gold Medal Ceremony, which will honor approximately 250 young Americans for their voluntary public service on Wednesday, June 23 in the Cannon House Caucus Room in Washington, D.C. Deputy Secretary Miller will discuss the privilege of public service and how the young people being honored have served. He will encourage them to dedicate themselves to public service as tutors, mentors and teachers.
