I have recently been diagnosed with large fybroid by a MRI scan the fybroid is on the left side of my uterus .. it has grown 4-5 cm in the last 15months, it is now more than 8cm big. The pain from this fybroid is very servere radiating down both legs and across the abdomain. This sympton is the most worrying : in the last few weeks a lump has appeared on the backside of my upper leg. It is hard and very sore, I have also noticed a loss in muscle tone of my right buttock. This has left the right side of my bottom dropping 3-4 inches and is very noticeable. My right leg seems to feel heavier and I have a feeling of the leg 'dragging' . I have had a CT scan for the lump, the lump is beleived to fat necrosis. I am very concerned. I am currently waiting for a laproscopy for further investigation to the cause of the pain in my stomach but feel a blood test might help with the answer. Could these two conditions be related? Please advise what blood tests I should request from the doctor.
