Nursing Education Program Now Accepting Applications

Georgetown University School of Nursing & Health Studies is now accepting applications for its Nursing Education program – delivered online through Nursing@Georgetown. This new program will offer graduates the opportunity to impact the education of future nurses at all levels by becoming educators themselves. The inaugural cohort will begin in November.
At a time when nursing students in some parts of the country are unable to attend classes because of a lack of nurse educators, there is a heightened need for professionals in the nursing education specialty. This program is designed to improve health care through the professional development of educators in a variety of settings, while incorporating the role of research into the advancement of high quality nursing education.
The program covers three areas:
