My husband is also type 2 diabetic and currenly has a foot ulcer which is healing but he is in a "boot" and we use a wheelchair for him for now.   This was a regular retinal screening ... We had lunch after the procedure...He is also coughing more and has dark circles under his eyes.  He does have allergies, for which he takes medicine.  I just wondered if anything in the dilation solution could have caused a reaction ... that would make him irritable and say things out of left field.  Thank you.
