I have this hole on the back of my calf that wont close and when I squeeze it kinda hard thick white puss comes out and it stink

I first noticed it when it was a lump and it took me forever to squeeze all the puss out, I've never had this hole forever. It just showed up as a lump and now I when I squeeze it every couple of weeks more puss comes out. It wont heal or close. What is this hole? How does it close?
