i have being experiencing vaginal bleeding with mild abdominal pain for almost a a month. I am not sexually avtive so i know i am not pregnant.I am 31years old.My doctor mentioned having a D&C. i am  so scared.Do i have to go under general anesthesia for this procedure?

And why am i bleeding?I dont have insurance and as a result i have not sought further medical attention.I cannot afford to pay anymore doc. fees.
