It is between dime and quarter size. There is no discoloration but my face is sorda swollen, it is tender to the touch, and hurts to yawn or open mouth.
Could be a goiter trying to form...I'm sure your doctor will order a thyroid test for you, but that's what it sounds like to me. I have one too, but it's only noticible once in a while, and I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditus (low thyroid) several years ago. Hope this helps...
