I am on 2nd round of antibiotics for 14 days, does it usually take this long to get rid of h.pylori?

It can take longer if you have anitbiotic resistant bacteria. Usually the first round is about a week, but you can be put on additional rounds if the bacteria is highly resistant. You are in the normal range of treatment and the more antiobiotic strains are becoming more common in people with h.pylori infectoin. Hope you feel better soon!
Thanks Jeff - This is actually the 3rd week, and 1 to go.  16 pills a day is no joke!!!
Hopefully it will be gone soon! Good luck!
