Kanter will visit Monroe Community College at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6 and discuss the importance of public-private partnership and access to a high-quality education.

During her visit, Kanter will highlight the potential of STRIVE—a national cradle-to-career model—in New York and its ability to deliver improved evidence-based educational outcomes for students and communities. Kanter will address P-16 practitioners; state, local and regional legislators; policymakers; and representatives from the local and national STRIVE networks.

Also in the Rochester-area on Tuesday, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Rural Outreach John White will visit schools in Willsboro, Crown Point, and Ticonderoga, NY to learn about progress being made in Adirondack Schools.
