U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will give the keynote luncheon address at the Foundation for Excellence in Education's National Summit on Education Reform at 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1, at the Mandarin Hotel in Washington, D.C. Duncan will discuss the need for bipartisan cooperation to advance education reform. A question and answer session will follow his remarks.
The summit is convening about 540 policymakers and lawmakers to participate in briefings, discussions and debates on the latest research, programs, and proven policies for improving the quality of education and raising student achievement.
