Dignified Urine Collection Kits now available on Prescription

One of the most undignified and often difficult diagnostic procedures is having to supply a urine sample. The process of trying to ensure that only a mid-stream sample is provided without contamination into the old universal bottle will rapidly become a thing of the past. Following the invention by NHS GP, Dr Vincent Forte, the Peezy is now available through the NHS as a result of the granting of an NHS Tariff. This means that the kits can now be supplied on prescription and surgeries are now ensuring sufficient stock.
The new urine sample collection system is most urgently needed in the ante-natal setting where pregnancy provides a particular challenge. However, it will also ease the fuss for most other patients including the disabled and for children.
