The U.S. Department of Education’s Director of Educational Technology Karen Cator will conduct a discussion billed as “A Conversation with Karen Cator” around the topics in the National Education Technology Plan. She will focus on how technology is shaping the future of education in America during the Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education’s (SITE) international conference Friday, March 11 in Nashville, Tenn.
SITE focuses solely on the integration of instructional technologies into teacher education programs. Annually, the SITE conference attracts the leaders in teacher education and technology from the U.S. and many other countries. This year, the conference expects more than 1,400 participants from 55 countries.
