How much water that  I should drink per day

According to the National Institutes for Health (NIH), in order to stave off dehydration, one should consume roughly 6-8 glasses (42-64 ounces) of water per day. 

Note that beverages containing caffeine and alcohol should not count toward this amount and are typically not recommended due to their diuretic effect.
