Dr. Brenda Dann-Messier, assistant secretary for the Office of Vocational and Adult Education, will give keynote remarks at the Technical College System of Georgia’s Adult Education Conference Wednesday, Nov. 3 in Atlanta. Dann-Messier will talk about the Administration’s adult basic education and literacy efforts, reauthorization of the Workforce Investment Act, and OVAE’s work related to community colleges and career and technical education.
The conference will provide professional development for more than 700 teachers, program administrators, and staff of the adult education programs in Georgia.
