Assistant Secretary for vocational and adult education Brenda Dann-Messier will give remarks at the New Hampshire Association of Career and Technical Administrators Summer Conference on Monday, Aug. 1, in North Conway, N.H. She will discuss the role of career and technical education (CTE) in preparing youths and adults for successful careers. Dann-Messier also will emphasize the Department’s CTE transformation strategy, which focuses on the need to bring rigorous programs of study to scale, promote career skills for all students, and underscore the need to enhance accountability systems to ensure that the best possible data are available.
