U.S. Department of Education Acting Assistant Secretary for Elementary and Secondary Education Michael Yudin will deliver keynote remarks at the National Association for the Education of Homeless Children & Youth (NAEHCY) 23rd Annual Conference at 8:15 a.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 6, at the Westin Convention Center Hotel in Pittsburgh.
Yudin will discuss the challenges of vulnerable student populations, particularly homeless students, and how the Department is addressing their needs. The conference will bring together directors of homeless programs from across the country. NAEHCY is the only professional organization specifically dedicated to meeting the educational needs of children and youth experiencing homelessness.
