In yesterday’s blog, we talked about the path of creating the ‘new you.’ It starts with a recognition that on some level you are dissatisfied. This recognition gets you wondering if there is another way. Quite often we are unable to see what’s possible.
No problem. This inquiry has led you to where you are on the journey. Each of us has a unique rhythm and travels at a different pace. What’s possible for you might not resemble what’s possible for someone else.
The important thing is to begin visualizing the life you wand to lead. And then doing something in furtherance of that life. Take a step forward toward creating the ‘new you.’
What’s equally important is to enjoy the journey of discovery. When we are enjoying ourselves, regardless of our circumstances, our entire life brightens up.
We become like magnets. As we continue on this journey and our life shines, we attract fellow travelers who want to know what our secret is. They want to be part of what we are creating.
Success won’t come to us until we learn to enjoy what we’re doing now, wherever we are on the journey. I’m thinking of success as an inner state. Without the inner fulfillment, our life will seem empty. It will just be a succession of achieving various goals. If the inner isn’t satisfied, we’ll never be happy.
As you become grateful for your life on a daily basis, you find that your joy meter keeps getting higher. Enjoy yourself, others and the work you do. Be grateful for the opportunity to make a contribution.
