Time is a big one. So many people I work with, work long days because they feel that they more work to do. They stay at work longer than they need to and get home late…and on those days when they leave at a decent time…after dinner they’re back at it….does this sound familiar? If it doesn’t you’re in good shape.

It’s always that feeling that there’s one more thing to do…and then you can stop….but it’s always going to be that way unless you change your attitude. If you are obsessive about tidying up the loose ends today, rest assured that there will be new one’s tomorrow.

We like everything to be wrapped up in a package….we’re uncomfortable leaving something that isn’t finished. That’s a good quality…don’t get me wrong….but it also keeps you imprisoned…it also verges on perfectionism.

As you become more comfortable with loose ends in your life, you will also find that you become more confident about life. It’s learning to be comfortable with the unknown, which allows you to try new things

Don’t be afraid to leave work early once in a while. You can always get it done tomorrow. There’s always something you are going to have to do. The more you do…the more you’ll find you have to do. It’s about setting boundaries….once you do you’ll find out that you can get more done than you realize. Think about how much you get done the day before you leave for a vacation. What if you were that efficient all of the time? Why couldn’t you be?
