This is my last day with my customer. The project ends tonight at midnight. I should be able to survive today. And hopefully without tears, but I can’t promise that much. Yesterday, another awful, awful day. But today hopefully is the end.
No matter what, I start a new project on Monday, so it doesn’t matter. I am done soon enough.
Not a lot going on with me. Yesterday I didn’t make it to the gym. I met up with Justin for lunch, which was fabulous. I was so exhausted and my stomachs till hurt, so it was a perfect little afternoon break that helped brighten my day.
Then after work we headed home and worked outside. I washed my car (filthy from the 800 mile drive I put on it this weekend), then thinned out my garden (growing like CRAZY!), and finally worked with Justin on the patio. Started adding the mulch beds around the perimeter. It was definitely some hard work. I think 2 hours in the yard made up for the lack of gym!
Most exciting thing that happened yesterday:

Over the weekend, Justin–his dad and brother entered themselves into fishing tournament. On Sunday they caught this mahi mahi (in reality, quite a small mahi) but they are in first place in the tournament in the Dolphin division right now.
And here it is on our dinner plate last night.

It was quite good. I marinated the filet in the juice of 1 lemon, some white wine, some coconut rum, fresh oregano and then a bit of smoked paprika and salt. Baked at 350 for 30 minutes. I added a bit of mayo and then some bread crumbs and broiled it on high for about 4 minutes to get a browned top.
Delish!
Today I am aiming to do a 7 mile run. I probably will split it into 2 runs because of the heat. I will do 4 miles over lunch in doors and then do the last 3 miles tonight.
Sorry for the boring post. Have a great day! At least it is a short week, therefore today is already hump day!
What are your plans for the Fourth?
Justin and I are heading down to Blacksburg for a party that my brother is throwing. Sounds like there will be quite a bit of yard golf and other games, beer drinking and cooking out. What more can you ask for out of your Fourth?!
