Favorite self help books… I’ve been meaning to do the occasional book review for a while. But nothing has inspired me quite as much as the book I’m reading right now. Which I found out about because of Darius Barazandeh and You Wealth Revolution .
That’s right. And the best thing? It’s FREE! You can tune in right now, and listen to the last several programs.
I checked it out, did a bit of research on the participants and found THREE books I simply had to have. So tonight, I went to our local Barnes & Noble and bought the one they had: Alexander Loyd’s “The Healing Code.” The other two should arrive tomorrow in the mail…. Meanwhile, I’ve started reading the Healing Code.
VERY cool, to say the least.
Remember how much I’ve been talking about stress and the importance of getting a grip on it? I was right! Stress really is at the source of must about every problem. And handling stress needs to be our number one priority.
Except this doesn’t go nearly deep enough…
The Healing Code explains exactly how it works and just why stress is causing problems, and the whole range of problems it causes. Sheesh, my own thoughts about that barely scratched the surface.
According to Alexander Loyd, almost all problems, especially health and energy problems, are caused by stress.
And he goes into a lot of detail about the sorts of things that cause stress and problems, and the kinds of problems they cause.
Now I didn’t buy the book for learning more about how I get stressed, obviously (or maybe not so obviously). I bought it because it offered a solution.
Meanwhile, Loyd and his cowriter go into great detail about the power of beliefs. There’s a very cool story about a little boy who was training to be a martial artist, and whose assignment was to break a brick during a special demo day.
He had never done that, but managed to do it perfectly. And here’s the quote: “The breaking of the bricks was simply the physical manifestation of the boy’s internal beliefs.”
And then, the next paragraph goes on:
“What are the bricks in your life? Whatever they are, chances are they are there because of a belief problem. The one thing I will promise you is that if you can believe the truth, the bricks that are blocking your path will fall away.”
Whoa!
And this is what this book promises. To help us make the bricks that are blocking our path fall away.
According to Loyd, beliefs are very powerful and can heal or kill you. The problem? Finding hidden beliefs.
And he argues that the root of everything is the heart. And to heal problems you have to heal the stress, and to heal the stress, you have to heal your memories.
And the Healing Codes he presents in his book are supposed to do that. Well… let’s see.
He begins explaining the healing code, and then, on page 213, is the disclaimer… “The Healing Code and Instant Impact are for informational and educational purposes only. Neither is intended to diagnose , prescribe, treat, or cure any disease or mental condition. The FDA has not evaluated this information and we make no curative claims.”
Awwww.
Seriously, it’s sad, but these legal disclaimers are necessary, or else, the FDA would probably come after the authors.
Anyway, so this is all for informational purposes, and educational purposes.
As is the rest of You Wealth Revolution!
And then, there are the Healing Codes described, with detailed instructions.
Next, there are equally detailed instructions about figuring out the heart issues that need to be healed.
Finally, the book includes an instant impact exercise, which basically involves intensive breathing.
I’m going to try it out and let you know how it’s working. And of course, I’ll also write about the other books.
In the meantime, be sure to check out Darius Barazandeh and YOU Wealth Revolution so you’ll be able to catch the rest of the lectures. They leave them up for 48 hours after they happen, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to listen in.
And yes, they also let you upgrade to get them as mp3s and as a fancy version that comes with transcripts as well as bonuses.
Now, I’ve got to get back to my favorite self help book
Have a great evening!
