An important person in my life once told me that his measure for a good day was to ask himself "Did I laugh today? Did I make someone else laugh today?" He felt that if he could answer yes to these questions then he had a good day. What great advice!
As they say, "laughter is the best medicine." Research actually supports this statement. Studies have shown that laughter can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, elevate mood, boost immune system function, protect your heart, and help you relax.
I am sharing a photo I have of my mother's cat that makes me laugh. Her cat's name is Kismet and he loves to wear his little sombrero - so then we call him Senior Kismet.
So make it a point to laugh everyday and/or make someone else laugh.
