Most people don't like to cause disturbances, drawing negative attention to themselves.Often when you speak the truth you will cause disturbances. The truth is hard to hear when you don't want to believe it or when it goes against they way you already believe.
Jesus, the Messiah, frequently caused disturbances. Religious leaders of the Jews did not want to believe what He spoke was truth. They held tightly to being a decedent of Abraham, whom God blessed with a covenant, promising a Seed to save the Jews. They did not want to believe Jesus could be the Seed prophesied over thousands of years.
I want everyone to believe in Jesus and the words He spoke while on earth. All who believe Jesus are My children. Anyone who does not believe is a child of the father of the world, Satan.
Some may say these words are bold, offensive, controversial. Truth sheds light so that deeds may be clearly seen. Everyone practicing evil hates the light, and does not want the light, because their evil deeds will be explosed. I did not send Jesus, My Son, into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Whoever believes in Jesus is not condemned; but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotton Son of God! And this is the condemnation that the light has come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. Jesus is the light.
