I'd like to wish everyone a happy holiday season and thank you for your continued support!
Aberration Nation has been running for nearly three years now. During that time it's gone through a few transitions, and that time has come once again. The problem is: I'm not sure yet exactly what those changes will be; I'm thinking ...
I'll be heading back to a full time job in the pharmaceutical industry after the holidays. I'm quite excited about it, but do realize that I'll have less time to devote to my creative endeavors. With that said, my creative projects will continue!
My plan over the next couple of weeks is to decide how best to move forward with Aberration Nation. It will continue! As I move into my new pharmaceutical role, I will also continue painting. I have two New York shows coming up in the new year (details to come)! I recently revised my website to focus primarily on my art.
Aberration Nation now serves as my writing site. This will likely factor into how I decide to move forward with the blog after the new year. With regard to my writing plans, I now have three completed novels (Boundaries, Centerpieces, and Dust) that are being pitched to editors in New York. My goal (best case scenario) is to find a home for at least one of them before starting my fifth novel. Regardless of publishing outcomes, I will likely begin that novel in the April-May time frame (if I can stand to wait that long). Writing is what I do; I can't stop.
Coming up in December on Aberration Nation, watch for my latest painting, Paper Doll, No. 3, which I hope to finish next week. I'm thinking about posting my own answers to some of my common interview questions regarding creativity. I thought that might be fun! Lastly, watch for my State of the Aberration Nation Address to find out what's in store for 2011!
