Wind Powering America to Publish Regional Meeting Reports
Posted Apr 12 2011 3:00am
Over the past month, the Wind Powering America team conducted a series of regional meetings to better understand the barriers that hamper the appropriate deployment of wind technologies and provide a collaborative discussion. The meetings were held in most regions of the country, were well attended, and generated a great amount of dialog. Summary reports will be made available for general review and comment for those unable to attend the meetings. The first two reports summarizing the meetings in the Southwest and Great Plains will be available during the next week on the Wind Powering America website . Following a 3-week comment period, a final report will be written. We strongly encourage people to look at these reports and provide any comments or perspectives that were not already captured. Efforts will be made over the next several months to more formally synthesize the input from these meetings so that Wind Powering America activities help to support the wind community.
