Andrea Parrish and Peter Geyer are the amazing founders of the Wedding Cans project - a project which attempts to pay
for their wedding in 2010 by recycling 400,000 aluminum cans. Both setting a
green example, and coming together in love, Andrea and Pete are an interesting
couple with more than a wedding on their minds.
There amazing goal of collecting 400,000 cans in 7 months (57,143 a month -
14,286 a week - 2,041 cans a day) may sound a little bit crazy, but it makes a
whole lot of sense. With the help of their friends and neighbors they are
currently up to a total of 91,352 cans. Making a difference is the ultimate
goal, as they are educating the world on how to take care of the earth as well
as earning money for their wedding.

"Pete and I aren't exactly your usual next-door-neighbors," says Andrea.
"We've got an aluminum smelting unit in the driveway, ferment our own wine in
the basement, and are more likely to be found working our front yard vegetable
