The Flex Belt review

Posted Jun 27 2012 10:28pm

What is the Flex Belt?

The Flex Belt® is the first Ab Belt Toning system cleared by the FDA for Toning, Firming and Strengthening the stomach muscles.

Now, before you go saying that you can’t work your abs (or any other part of your body) without doing physical exercise just keep reading…

With The Flex Belt, you can train your abs even if you’re too busy or too tired for a traditional workout. Just slip on the comfortable toning ab belt and the clinically demonstrated, patented medical-grade technology stimulates the nerves that make your muscles contract and relax. As a result, you get an effective abdominal workout that targets all the muscles in your abdomen – all in just 30 minutes a day.
The Flex Belt will stimulate all your stomach muscles causing contractions that provide you with the perfect abdominal contraction – that means your upper abs, the lower abs and even your obliques are going to get worked from The Flex Belt…and it does all the work for you. You don’t have to worry about your form or come up with the time to get it done. The Flex Belt is clinically demonstrated to deliver firmer, stronger and more toned abdominal muscles while you are: at home, at work, watching TV, exercising, folding laundry, helping your kids with their homework, taking a walk…virtually anywhere and anytime.

You get everything you need…
The Flex Belt® unit
Gel Pads
Rechargeable Power Supply Unit
Belt extension for those with a waist over 44 inches
Instruction Manual

The belt has different sizing for the pad placement easily marked on it…

It comes with pads to get you started and you simply order replacements after about 30 uses…

I used it for the last two weeks or so and saw some slight improvement in my abs.
I of course used it at full force from the get go…
I have a high tolerance for not being able to feel things and for pain…remember the self inflicted frost bite incident I had in December right?
So, while I started at the max level of 150 for 40 minutes every day, I’d suggest you follow the directions/plan in the instruction manual which has different levels to start off and work your way up to higher levels.
Another FYI: if you use it, make sure to position it properly or you can feel weirdness in hip or leg depending on where it’s placed…which is usually because its over a bone (a few times I had it down on my hip bone which now doesn’t have as much blubber over it so I got a few shooting pangs before I decided to reposition and start over! like I said before…high tolerance)

Do I think it works…yep, I actually do.
Do I think my 6 pack will start showing…eventually but I’ll also be doing other ab work and paying more attention to what I eat as well.
Will I lose belly fat…no, not just by using this.
Will I stop doing other ab work…nope. I have some major goals and abs are part of them and it’s going to take more than just a clean diet and the flex belt to achieve them but it can assist me on my goals.
The Flex Belt is good as far as working my muscles with my doing pretty much nothing (other than working at my desk or housework) so it’s cool that I can work my abs and do something else productive.

There are all kinds of testimonials on their site from regular people to models and athletes as well.
