Nova Scotia Power signs 20-year power deal with Watts Wind Energy

A 20-year power purchase agreement has been signed between Nova Scotia Power and Watts Wind Energy Inc.
Under the deal, a 1.5-megawatt wind turbine will be installed at Watt Section, about 120 kilometres east of Halifax. Watts says it’s been measuring wind data at the site since October 2008 and plans to implement the project this year.
