Ever since January 2000 the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris, France has sparkled with thousands of lights at night.
But now, as a way to reduce its energy consumption, the tower will cut its light usage in half.
The tower’s 20,000 lights used to sparkle for 10 minutes every hour, and now they will only sparkle for 5 minutes.
Sounds like the French definitely know about going green.
