I have been busting to tell you this for months now! You know my friend, Ed Bruske, the best journalist in the United States regarding school lunch (and much more) and the leader of after-school culinary classes for inner-city kids? (He ought to do a book on that.) The one whose extraordinary front-yard garden one mile from the White House I visited and photographed a couple of summers ago?
But what I couldn't tell you yet was that was just a temporary move (and a move that broke his heart as he watched the developer rip out his garden , after saying he would try to keep it in some way as a resident amenity). Ed was on a hunt for what his heart really wanted. And he found it.

Ed, his wife, and daughter bought a farm in upstate New York! Here is the story, from his blog *. Congratulations, Ed. I can't wait to see the next chapter in your journey.
* While on Ed's blog, be sure to check out the investigative articles regarding school lunch (in the center column), and the hands-on weekly cooking lessons he gives kids (in the actual blog).
