The conference solicits original, unpublished research and practice papers; all articles will be peer-reviewed. The conference welcomes innovative and even controversial ideas. The poster session allows for preliminary, emerging and futuristic ideas to be shared with participants. All authors are encouraged to take a life-cycle systems approach and consider, where possible, such measures as EROEI (energy returned on energy invested) or EROI (energy return on investment) and others.
