He didn't put a note in the box, but I know why he sent it. I had written about Corning recently and their game-changing Gorilla Glass . Plus, this particular covered dish was U.S.-made in a factory in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, which is 21 miles south of Pittsburgh. Rick is from Pittsburgh, and that city that has been the topic of much discussion in my house and between Rick and me recently (that's still a developing story--big thanks to Grow Pittsburgh for following me on Twitter). And I guess he just knew I'd like it (and I do). (I also happen to have been born in 1963, but I don't think Rick knew that). Thanks, Rick.
