A group of attorneys, journalists, and justice advocates, including author and attorney Charlotte Dennett, today filed a request under the Freedom of Information Act requesting the release of the Department of Justice and Office of Professional Responsibility report on the Office of Legal Counsel memos purported to authorize the use of torture on detainees.
