Many of you have been viewing one of my older posts about eco-friendly holiday cards from last year. While these cards are still viable options, I wanted to add some new resources for you, including recycled photo cards.
The days of the printing out the photo and inserting it into a card and then writing a message are officially over. Too much wasted time and paper. Now there are options that are both beautiful and socially acceptable. At least to "greenies" like me. Here we go:
1. Ink and Paint. This online card shop offers several varieties of recycled holiday cards. They offer 3 types of Photo Cards, tastefully done on a single sheet of recycled paper.
2. Pear Tree Greetings. This greeting card company offers 9 very lovely varieties of recycled photo cards, all of which are, again, printed on a single sheet of paper.
3. Greener Printer. I am really amazed by this company. All of their products are super "green", aka made with FSC certified or recycled paper and soy or veggie inks. The cards are created from 100% wind power and all of their shipping is carbon-free to boot. They offer a nice selection, including full photo cards, you know, without a border, and you can customize your message too. Really nice products. On top of that, you can use them for all your printing needs- business cards, note cards, calendars, the whole enchilada.
