DOE Wind Powering America would like to invite you to learn more about the future of Offshore Wind in the United States. We are hosting two seminars and a Webinar titled Creating an Offshore Wind Industry in the United States: A National Vision and Call to Action.
In these events, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), Wind and Water Power Program will outline in detail the vision it has developed to guide the United States in the creation of a world-leading offshore wind industry; focusing on ways in which the various interested sectors (i.e. academia, industry, state and local governments, the public at large) can harmonize their efforts to address barriers to deployment.
The first was held during the Great Lakes Wind Collaborative 3rd Annual Meeting on September 21, 9:30-11a.m., in Cleveland, OH.
The second will be held in Washington, D.C. on September 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Mayflower Renaissance Hotel , State Room, 1127 Connecticut Ave., NW. To reserve your seat, please email Michele DesAutels by Wednesday, September 22.
